Calvin Marion has a lifelong passion to educate and empower. He taught school in Polk County for 7 years. During this time, his students have been among the top in the state in Standardized test. For example in 2003 while teaching at Union Academy his students ranked 6th in the state of Florida on the Math portion of the FCAT. Mr. Marion has also seen unparalleled growth in his students performance during his short teaching career. He believes that students should do better because of him, not in-spite of him. He has led his students to victories in a number of math competitions including MathCounts. Mr. Marion has worked with programs like Crop, Upwardbound, and the CARE Program at Florida State University. In these programs he built student's confidence while teaching them to master concepts assessed on Standardized Test. Mr. Marion has faced many challenges, including students that were diagnosed as EMH, and has overcome them. He awaits the opportunity to be of service to you and your family.
